Root Crops: Eschallot de Jersey (Allium cepa)

Description Famous French heirloom shallot known for its large size. Beautiful bronze skin. Outer flesh is mauve. Average size bulb is 3-4 inches. Keep some in the ground over winter to produce seeds. Save small bulbs and plant like garlic in the fall. Rare.
